The permanent Nanoceramic Implant Bridge is the most innovative technology available in the U.S. for full-arch implant-supported bridgework. This state-of-the-art material is made of high luster tooth shaded ceramics infused with a specialized resin, resulting in permanent teeth that are extremely lightweight, very durable, and have long-lasting beauty. The Nanoceramic Implant Bridge is very lightweight and has gentle shock-absorbing characteristics, eliminating the “heavy clacking” that is typical of super hard Zirconia bridgework. Zirconia Implant Bridge

Zirconia is considered the strongest and hardest tooth-shaded material used in dentistry today. Its white coloring makes it a great material for people who want a beautiful smile but have had severe wear issues with their teeth. Zirconia is stained and glazed to achieve the color and luster of natural enamel, with an appearance similar to porcelain. Zirconia will not chip, crack, or break and is completely impermeable to fluids, so it will never absorb stains. This bridge is also usually supported by 6 implants, not 4 like most implant centers.

Zirconia is an extremely hard and heavy material, too hard and heavy to attach to dental implants immediately, so a temporary bridge made of resilient acrylic is delivered the next day after surgery. Your Teeth Next Day® Permanent Zirconia Bridge will be custom-designed 3 months after implant surgery, allowing your implants to properly fuse with the jaw bone before completely loading with hard zirconia. If you’re told zirconia can be immediately placed on new implants, be wary.

Porcelain Implant Bridge

The Porcelain Implant Bridge most closely resembles natural teeth in that there is usually no pink flange to mimic gum tissue like the Nanoceramic Bridge or Zirconia Bridge. The Porcelain Implant Bridge feels as thin to your tongue and lips as real teeth do, so speech is usually not affected at all. Highly esthetic porcelain is fused onto a strong zirconia substructure, giving it superior strength, minimal thickness, and premium cosmetic results. This premium implant bridge option uses the highest quality durable porcelain that allows it to look and feel as close to real teeth as any other implant-supported bridge in the marketplace. The esthetics are superior to all other materials and most closely resemble the shape and size of natural teeth. The Porcelain Implant Bridge is commonly supported by 6-8 implants.

Because there is usually no pink porcelain to simulate gums, your gum tissues must fully heal after dental implant surgery before the permanent bridge is placed. The zirconia substructure is also too rigid to immediately load the implants, so resilient cosmetic temporaries are placed the same day of surgery, so you’ll leave our office that day with teeth. The temporaries are worn for 3 months, allowing the gum tissues to change shape over time and the implants to fuse to the bone.
